Vodafone Idea (VI) has now started its Wi-Fi calling service in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Earlier this service was live in many circles like Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and UP. Now the company has also included these two new states in the supported list. This means that if the mobile network is weak in your home or office but Wi-Fi is present, you will be able to make clear calls, without any break or drop.

VI’s Wi-Fi calling service is available for both prepaid and postpaid users. There is no need for any special plan for this, but your smartphone and Wi-Fi network should support this feature. According to the company, this feature is useful especially for those users who have a problem of call quality inside buildings like home or office. VI says that users will now be able to make calls without relying on the network tower, which will improve real time communication.
