In how many days can you complain about election results
The voter list amendment has nothing to do with the Central Election Commission directly. Even if the Commission gets any complaint, it is sent to the concerned officer at the local level. The law also provides that if a person has objections to the election results or voter list, then he can file an election petition in the High Court within 45 days of the election result.

It is not possible to prove a disturbance in the two -year -old voter list
After this period, neither EVM nor voting data is kept safe. The information of voting machines and voter list is preserved only after the permission of the court. Sources associated with the Election Commission have also made it clear that the updation of the voter list is a continuous process. So if someone claims that there was a disturbance in the two -year -old voter list, then it is not possible to prove it, because after every election, the process of making a new voter list starts.

‘Anyone will raise any question’
Experts say that on the basis of the way Rahul Gandhi has made allegations, any person can question the process and result of any election at any time, while the election rules clearly have a clear time limit and jurisdiction, so that unnecessary questions cannot arise on the fairness and transparency of the electoral process.

Overall, the Commission and experts believe that after the notification is issued to the voter list on which elections are conducted, all political parties are given to all political parties. In such a situation, they get enough time and opportunity to register their objections to any kind of disturbance in that list. Therefore, there is no concrete basis for the allegations made after the election.
