Which documents will prove citizenship?

These include birth certificate, residence certificate, passport, National Register of Citizens document, government identity card or pension order. Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dnyanesh Kumar gave important information about Bihar assembly elections. He said that before each election, special special revision of the voter list is required according to the law. When someone says that the revision should be held after the election, it is not justice.

If you have two voter cards. And you did not cancel a voter card. So there can be a problem later. The Election Commission considers it to be legally wrong. Because the name of a person should not be registered more than one place. If it is found that you have two voters ID. So your name can be removed from both places.

Asaduddin Owaisi on Bihar Voters List: Hyderabad MP and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision that has been instructed to recognize 11 documents as well as three more documents – Aadhaar card, voter ID (EPIC) and ration card along with 11 documents already existing for voter verification in Bihar elections. Owaisi has described it as ‘an important step’ towards strengthening the voter verification process.
