This incident shows that despite all the strict rules of the Election Commission (ECI), workers of political parties are not desisting from openly violating the code of conduct.

According to the information, Congress workers are creating ruckus near all the polling stations of Jubilee Hills wearing T-shirts with serial number 2 written on them. These T-shirts exactly match the colors and style of the Congress party, the clear objective of which is to influence the voters. This action is a direct violation of the model code of conduct.

Police and election officials are not doing anything
What is most disappointing is that despite complaints being lodged about this serious violation, the police and election officials have not taken the matter seriously. Due to his indifferent attitude, there is a lot of anger among the workers of the opposition party Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS). When BRS workers surrounded and questioned these Congress workers for violating the rules, the Congress workers started fighting.

A major threat to peace
This clash outside the booths is spoiling the voting environment and is being considered a major threat to peace and order. BRS says that senior election officials should immediately intervene in this matter. There should be a strict ban on such activities within 100 meters of the polling station, and immediate strict action should be taken against anyone violating the rules. This way of influencing voters by Congress workers is not only shocking but is also considered to be a blatant flouting of rules and regulations.

The purpose of making it is that for some time, it has been seen that fake voting, duplicate voter cards and misinformation cards cause great problems. To prevent this, the Election Commission is now issuing new and updated voter cards, it will have a new photo, updated information and this card will also be available in digital form.

If the voter card is not made yet, then apply

1. To make voter cards before Bihar election, first go to the NVSP website or the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar.

2. Register with mobile number and email ID or if you already have an account then login.

3. After this, select the option of New Registration for General Electors (Form-6).

4. Fill your complete information in the form, such as name, date of birth, gender, address and necessary documents.

5. After submitting the form, you will get a reference number, so that you can track the status online.

6. Your document and form will be examined through Booth Level Officer (BLO) in your area.

7. If all the information is found correct, your voter card will be ready and sent to your house.

The Supreme Court has asked the Election Commission to provide information about the people left in the draft list of SIR in an easy way. There should be a separate website for every district, in which information should be put. It should be widely publicized. The court gave these instructions during the hearing on the objections regarding the draft list of SIR.

Justice Surya Kant and Joyamalya Bagchi bench said that it is not right for people to depend on anyone to get information. They should not have to travel to the booth level officer (BLO) or the booth level agent (BLA) of political parties. If there is no list, then he or his family can get this information easily. If necessary, then he will be able to claim for improvement.

The Supreme Court has asked the Election Commission to take this step:-

• Names of missing voters should be put on the district level website
• The information will be according to the booth. It can be checked through EPIC number (voter ID card number)
• The reason for the voter not being named in the draft list will also be written
• Website should be widely publicized on local media and official social media
• It should also be told in the public notice that people can claim themselves by copying the Aadhaar card.
• Each booth level officer listed names with the reasons for the name of the name in Panchayat Bhawan and Block Office
• District wise list should also be put in the website of the Chief Election Commissioner of the state
• Election Commission should inform Supreme Court by taking compliance report from booth level and district level officials

The court has said that it will be the next hearing on August 22 at 2 pm. Along with looking at the report of the Election Commission on that day, other suggestions of the petitioner side will also be heard. In the hearing held on Thursday, senior advocate Rakesh Dwivedi on behalf of the Election Commission presented the side. He said that the Commission cannot object to easily providing information to voters. His objection is only on the fact that an NGO should tell his right to get the full list.
