The committee held a meeting on Thursday evening to review the improvements and development plans around the temple. In this meeting, many important things were discussed to bring transparency in all the arrangements and management of the temple.

In the meeting, a new method has also been approved to open the piggy bank of the temple from November with the help of a bank. The committee also approved the purchase of cleaning equipment including pressure machines, vacuum cleaners and floor-cleaning machines to improve daily maintenance.

The committee, headed by Justice Ashok Kumar, discussed 15 points, out of which 11 were agreed upon. Justice Kumar said that a firm had been selected for ‘live streaming’ and the service was expected to be launched around Holi next year.

The committee also discussed the removal of encroachments near gates number one, two and three of the temple and reviewed the guidelines regarding acquisition of nearby property to improve the facilities for the devotees.

Apart from this, the government’s stand regarding the proposed Banke Bihar Corridor in Vrindavan has also become clear, hence in the committee meeting, the outline of giving compensation to the owners of houses and shops falling under the jurisdiction of corridor construction was discussed in detail.
