Wang yi talk to ajit doval: The developments have changed rapidly in the last few hours amidst the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. First Donald Trump announces the ceasefire, then China also gets entry into it and it openly supports Pakistan. Now China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi has spoken to the phone to National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, “Doval said that India needs to take anti -terrorism action due to serious casualties of Indian personnel in the Pahalgam terror attack. The war was not the choice of India and it was not in the interest of any aspect. India and Pakistan will be committed to the ceasefire and will be hoped to restore regional peace and stability as soon as possible.”

‘China opposes any form of terrorism’

Wang Yi said that China condemns the Pahalgam terrorist attack and opposes all forms of terrorism. The current international situation is disturbed and mutually connected. It is very difficult to achieve peace and stability in the Asian region and it should be preserved. India and Pakistan are neighbors who cannot be separated and both are neighbors of China.

‘Hope both countries will maintain peace’

He further said that China appreciates your statement that war is not the choice of India and honestly hopes that India and Pakistan will remain calm and restrained, will handle the differences properly through dialogue and counseling and prevent the situation from growing. China supports and expects to achieve wider and permanent ceasefire through deliberations between India and Pakistan. It is in the fundamental interest of India and Pakistan and also desires the international community.
