Shaista Amber made this demand from the government

Shaista Amber said, “So far no government has worked with true heart for Muslims, only vote politics was done. We appeal to the BJP government to give Muslim women their rights and make the working style of Waqf Board transparent.” He further said, “The government should rescue the Waqf lands, to be rescued, the matter should be investigated and action should be taken on the culprits. All India Muslim Personal Law Board objected

At the same time, All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has expressed displeasure over this bill. The board has sought time to meet President Draupadi Murmu. The board says that this law interferes with the government in Waqf properties and can affect the religious freedom of Muslims. Imran masood on waqf bill 2024: Congress MP Imran Masood has fiercely targeted the government over the Waqf Amendment Bill (2024). Opposition accused the government

Opposition political parties are making all kinds of allegations against this bill on the Modi government. He says that this law is being brought to take away the rights of Waqf Board and Muslims. Amidst the ongoing debate, everyone has come to know what the Waqf is and once a property is given to Waqf, then the ownership of it is removed from it. Even a challenge cannot be done in the court regarding the land of Waqf.

Waqf’s property is not challenged in court

Actually, the government says that in the 1995 Act, there are mistakes regarding the regulation of Waqf’s properties. There is also a dispute about ownership and many cases of illegal occupation of Waqf land are included. This is the reason why the central government is bringing a new law. The Waqf Tribunal Board hear all the cases regarding Waqf’s properties and its decision cannot be challenged in the court. Like Waqf’s property, there is something else which cannot be challenged in the court.

What cannot be challenged in court

Like Waqf’s land, the instructions of the state policy cannot be challenged in the court. The direction of state policies is not applied and debated in the court of theory law, as they have moral duties of the state that a state should follow for the benefit of its citizens. Therefore, they cannot be challenged in court.

Bill passed after 14 hours of debate

Jagdambika Pal further said that “14 hours of time was taken to discuss this bill and all MPs were given full opportunity to speak. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always gives priority to reforms (reforms) and this bill is also an important step in the same direction.”

Disputes are going on between the government and the opposition over this bill, but the government claims that this bill has been brought to make cases related to Waqf more transparent and balanced.

JDU and LJP stance
