There was a sudden atmosphere of panic in the District Court complex in Warangal, Telangana this afternoon, when an unknown caller gave sensational information to the police about a bomb being planted in the court complex, immediately after which the administration became alert and evacuated the entire area and security agencies started a detailed operation for investigation. As soon as this news came, there was a stir in the court premises and shadows of panic were seen among the lawyers, people who had come for the litigation and the court employees.

Police control room had received information about the bomb

The sequence of the incident is that the police control room received a phone call, in which the caller claimed that an explosive bomb was kept inside the district court, which could explode at any time. Taking this threat seriously, police officers immediately reached the spot. Within no time, the police force surrounded the entire court premises and started the work of evacuating the people inside. Since courts are public places and there is a large crowd there, the police did not take any risk and ordered immediate evacuation. Forensic team along with bomb squad and dog squad have also been called to the spot so that every corner can be investigated.

Third Hawks call in last one week

This is the third hoax call this week, earlier this week a threat was sent by mail to many courts in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, but today another threat was received on call which later proved to be a lie. But the intention of the administration is clear that it cannot be negligent under any circumstances. At present, the entire functioning of Warangal District Court has been stopped and security personnel are checking every little thing on the spot. At the same time, the police is also engaged in technical investigation to trace the caller so that it can be known who is doing this kind of fraud and why. So far no suspicious object has been found in the premises, but the operation is continuing.

On Sunday afternoon (22 February 2026), a minor dispute created such a storm in the hostel of Kakatiya University located in Warangal, Telangana that the situation reached a violent clash. This incident not only raises questions about the discipline of the university, but also shows how a small matter can turn into a big controversy. The truth that has come to light before the police and administration is shameful to a great extent. The incident occurred yesterday i.e. around 1 pm on Sunday afternoon, but its information came to light late.

According to the information, the whole matter started over the leftover chicken served during lunch in the hostel mess. A debate broke out between MBA first year and Economics first year students over sharing the chicken during lunch. Initially this argument was just a dispute, but soon it turned into mutual abuse. The situation worsened when students from both sides started fighting. According to witnesses, the dispute became so intense that the students picked up sticks and coins kept nearby and attacked each other. There are also reports of some students having their arms and legs broken in this violent confrontation, although this has not been confirmed yet.

Resentment among MBA and Economics students

An important aspect of this incident is that this clash did not happen suddenly, but its roots were in the pre-existing tension. According to some reports, there was already resentment going on among the MBA and Economics students over some issues, which completely boiled over the issue of chicken distribution. There is often pressure between departmental students in the hostel of Kakatiya University and this incident reflects that deep rift. Other students and mess staff present at the spot tried to intervene, but by then it was too late and the atmosphere had completely deteriorated.

Police action in Kakatiya University case

After this violence, the police took immediate steps and started investigating the matter. Although no formal arrest has been made yet, the police are interrogating students from both sides. The university administration has also taken cognizance and issued a strict warning regarding discipline in the hostel. This incident gives rise to questions as to why the management of the hostel had become so lax that it became a matter of even lathicharge over a meal.

Yesterday i.e. on Friday, such a painful scene was seen in the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Hospital located in Warangal, Telangana, which shattered the claims of the health system. Kanta Rao, a resident of Khammam district, died of a heart attack.

After the death, the hospital staff adopted such a cruel attitude that they neither helped nor provided a stretcher to take out the body. The helpless family members finally had to carry the body of their loved one on their shoulders and carry it to the ambulance.

After Khammam resident Kanta Rao suffered a serious heart attack, family members immediately took him to MGM Hospital. However, the doctors declared him dead. The real shock for the family grieving the death happened after this. When the family asked the hospital staff for a stretcher to take the body out of the mortuary to the ambulance, they were turned down.

What is the whole matter?

People present at the spot said that the hospital staff flatly refused to help saying that it was not their job. As a result, the family members were left with no option and had to carry the body in their hands, without any support, through the corridors of the hospital to the parking area outside.

During this period, no officer or employee posted in the hospital came forward. On one hand, governments talk about schemes like ‘Ayushman Bharat’, on the other hand, such treatment of patients and their families in government hospitals raises questions.

Lack of basic facilities in government hospitals of Telangana

There are often complaints of lack of basic facilities and rude behavior of the staff in major government hospitals of Telangana. Especially in district hospitals, where there is more crowd, shortage of stretchers and wheelchairs is common. However, in a big institution like MGM, this kind of treatment of a dead person is not only inhumane, but it is also against medical ethics. In the last few years, many such cases have come to light where patients had to be dragged on the floor on stretchers, but such treatment of the dead body is socially disastrous.
