PM Modi said, ‘Today there are many big challenges before humanity. First Corona came, then wars started and now there is an energy crisis. This decade is becoming a decade of disasters for the world. If this situation does not change soon, the achievements of the past decades may be lost. A large part of the world’s population may again fall into the trap of poverty.

Referring to his country’s achievements, PM Modi said, ‘In the past years, India has laid optical fiber 11 times more than the distance of the Moon from the Earth. A decade ago we used to import mobile phones, today India is the second largest mobile manufacturer. Apart from this, today’s India has another identity. Today’s India is an innovation power. Today our digital public infrastructure is discussed all over the world. This is a big proof of the innovation of Indians.

India’s youth wants to touch the sky: PM Modi

PM Modi said, ‘Today our India is dreaming big. Today the country is saying – we do not just want transformation, we want the best, we want the fastest. Therefore, when Aspirations are Unlimited in India, Efforts are also becoming Limitless. Today the youth of India wants to touch the sky. Today’s India is going through a period of unprecedented change. You must have seen recently that India organized the world’s largest and most successful AI summit. Before that, India had also organized a successful summit of G-20.

PM Modi said, ‘Startup has become the mood of the youth of India today. 12 years ago there were less than 500 startups in the country. Today this number has increased to more than two lakhs. In the world of startups, there were only four unicorns in India in 2014, today there are around 125 unicorns here. About 44 thousand more new startups have been registered in 2025 alone. Today our startups are doing great work in AI, defense and space sectors.

PM Modi said, ‘This culture of research and innovation is becoming bigger with time. More than lakhs of patents have been filed in India last year. India is also taking big steps in the semiconductor sector in chip making. At present 12 semiconductor plants are working in India. Production has also started in two of these plants. Now the chip will also be designed in India, made in India. Today India is an innovation power. Our digital public infrastructure is talked about all over the world today. This is a big proof of the innovation of Indians.
