There is a small label on the fabric of every sofa called a care tag. This determines how to clean the sofa. Like W means use only water based cleaner, S means only solvent based cleaner or dry cleaning. Apart from this, S/W means both (water or solvent) can be used. Also, X means vacuum only, avoid moisture. This small step saves the color and fabric of your sofa and also reduces expenses.

Stains and dirt can penetrate inside by direct rubbing. Therefore, do dry cleaning first. Take a vacuum cleaner with upholstery attachment. Vacuum the dust accumulated in the back, sides and joints of the sofa. Sprinkle baking soda on the cushion and leave it for 20 minutes and then clean the baking soda with a vacuum cleaner. This makes the sofa feel light, fresh and odor free.
