This year, the monsoon rains in the country have broken many records. In Delhi too, this time the rain has been more than the last several years. As a result, there was relief from the humid heat, but the life of the people was completely affected.

Major roads got jammed, people had to face problems due to waterlogging in many places and three school children were injured due to falling one wall. According to official data, it has been the highest rainfall in the last 15 years.

15 -year record broken

According to the information, 399.8 mm of rain has been recorded so far in August. Earlier, in the year 2010, 455.8 mm of rain was received. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the monsoon has been active for a long time this time. The reason for this is being believed to be the active geographical phenomenon La-Nina.

Effect of rain- capital submerged capital

Due to continuous rains, there was waterlogging in many areas of Delhi. A Delhi Traffic Police official said that traffic on Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) flyway, Mathura Road, ITO, Geeta Colony, Dhaulakuan and Badarpur-Ashram route has been severely affected.

Due to the queue of vehicles for several kilometers, the office going to the office and school buses faced a lot of problems. On social media, the passengers complained that even the ambulance got stuck in the jam.

A passenger said, “Why is traffic on the National Highway eight going to Delhi so slow?” Even the ambulance is having difficulty in moving an inch. “Another passenger wrote, referring to being trapped on the road from Badarpur to Sarita Vihar,” It took me more than an hour to cover a distance of four kilometers and now there is no movement for 30 minutes.

Accident due to old wall collapse

3 children were injured when an old wall collapsed in Mandavali area of East Delhi, although they narrowly survived. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) received complaints of waterlogging and falling trees.

At the same time, the Public Works Department deployed pumps and employees for quick drainage. The Meteorological Department has warned that in the next few hours, strong winds may blow with light to moderate rains.

AAP accuses corruption on BJP

While people are upset due to heavy rains, Delhi politics is also hot. The App and Congress accused the BJP that Delhi was submerged due to neglect and corruption. At the same time, BJP says that under the supervision of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, agencies immediately came into action and did not stop life completely.

Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj shared the video on social media and questioned the government, while BJP’s Virendra Sachdeva described it as “long monsoon, but vigilant administration”.

Mumbai-Whenever it rains, the speed of Mumbai stops, but this time the rain has crossed all limits. The city roads took the form of the sea, the vehicles were seen floating like a boat and local trains were forced to crawl. People’s lives got such a brake that it was a new ‘mermaid island’, not Mumbai, not seeing the video on social media. Many such videos are viral on social media, after watching that you will say that it is good that we are not currently in Mumbai.

Roads became the river, vehicles became boat welcome to ‘Venice of India’!

Water on many roads of Mumbai was filled so much that people were seen walking in water from knees to waist. Somewhere Scooty was seen flowing, then some cars were half submerged. In the viral video, the situation in many areas became such that people taunted and said, “It seems that we have come out to bathe in the Ganges, not the office.”

Local trains late, flight divert- journey becomes ‘traveling’

Local trains, considered to be the ‘lifeline’ of Mumbai, were late for hours after filling water on the track. At the same time, more than 14 flights had to be diverted at the airport. The airlines had to issue even advisory for passengers. It seemed as if it had shifted to an island of Maharashtra.

The video of ‘floating Mumbai’ went viral, people said … What will happen with the umbrella when there is water up to the waist?

The videos that are going viral on social media clearly say, “It is not rain, it is a flood of the sea!” In a video, the person was seen walking in the water to the waist with an umbrella and there was a caption when the water will not be able to do anything to the waist. Overall, the flood of mimes and tweets has also put a new ‘Tadka’ in this monsoon.

Also read: VIDEO: Elderly mother -in -law hit the road with slippers, brother -in -law beaten her sister -in -law, video viral

Mumbaikar said that this happens every year, when will the system improve?

People’s anger also erupted fiercely on social media. One user wrote, “This is the story of every year, the loose attitude of the system from Mumbai and above.” For working class, this is not a ‘Mumbai Spirit’, but is compulsion to reach office by fighting for 2-3 hours daily, catching trains and walking on broken roads.

At the moment, it is certain that it will be viral in Mumbai, it will be viral! So sir, if you are in Mumbai, do not forget to keep raincoats, umbrellas and lots of patience. And yes, even if we get stuck, make a good video, do you know what the next viral content is yours.

Politics has intensified due to rain in Delhi and the situation after that. Former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has targeted Rekha Gupta government for waterlogging in Delhi.

Arvind Kejriwal wrote on the X handle, “When this is the condition of Delhi’s Dil Connaught Place, it is not difficult to guess the condition of the rest of Delhi.
Life affected due to heavy rains

The continuous rains in the entire NCR including Delhi since Tuesday morning have affected life badly. Due to heavy rains, there has been water logging on many roads in Delhi on one side, due to which traffic has been affected very much. At the same time, there has been heavy waterlogging in many places in Noida, which led to a long jam on the roads.

Bad condition on Delhi Noida border

The worst condition of the Kalindi Kunj border linking Noida and Delhi was seen, where long queues of trains were seen on the route leading to Delhi. In the morning, when people came out for office and other tasks, the major intersections, flyovers and routes were seen crawling.

Long jam on Mahamaya

In busy areas like Noida Sector-18, Sector-62, DND flyover and Mahamaya flyover, drivers had to be stuck in jam for hours. Due to heavy rains, waterlogging has been created on many roads, due to which two -wheeler drivers are facing special problems. The pole of drainage system has opened once again, because in the lightened rain, the water fills the roads and the drains are overflowed.
