In Bihar, a golden opportunity has come for the youth preparing for government jobs. Women and Child Development Corporation (WCDC), Bihar has issued official notification for recruitment to a total of 77 posts. This recruitment center administrator, case worker, mercury legal personal/lawyer, mercury medical personal, psychiatric consultant and computer knowledge Office is being done for important posts like assistant assistants.

Those candidates who are eligible for these posts and have the passion to work in the field of social service, they can apply online by visiting the official website wcdc.bihar.gov.in. The application process has started from 26 June 2025 and will run till 18 July 2025.

• Center Administrator – 11 posts
• Case Worker – 22 posts
• Para Legal Personal / Lawyer – 11 posts
• Mercury Medical Personal – 11 posts
• Psychiatry -Social Consultation – 11 posts
• Office assistant (including computer knowledge) – 11 posts

What should be educational qualification?

Different educational qualifications have been fixed to apply for these posts. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in subjects like law, social work, sociology or psychology. Paramedical diploma is mandatory for mercury medical post. It is necessary to have computer knowledge for office assistant.

What is the age limit?

General Male Candidates – Maximum age 37 years
General Women Candidates – Maximum age 40 years
OBC (male/female) – 40 years
SC/ST (Male/Female) – 42 years

How will the selection be?

Candidates will be selected on the basis of three stages-

Educational Qualification – 60 marks
Work Experience – 15 Points
Interview – 25 points
The final selection list will be prepared based on the total marks of these three.
