A felicitation cum felicitation ceremony was organized for the MLAs who won on the symbol of ‘Hum’ party at Haridas Seminary High School, Gayaji on Sunday (December 21, 2025). While addressing the program on this occasion, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi talked about the commission in an open forum, which is sure to create an uproar in the political corridors.

‘Every MP-MLA takes commission…’

Jitan Ram Manjhi’s son and party’s national president Santosh Suman was also present in this program. He explained to his son that he should strengthen his party. He said, “Every MP-MLA takes commission. At least settle the commission money… If someone doesn’t give 10 percent then take 5 percent. Work on five percent only… It means to say that I have the power and we can do it… Just make up your mind.”

Jitan Ram Manjhi clearly advised his son to use this money to strengthen the party. It was also told that he himself would help the party with the commission from his MP fund.

‘The party should get 100 seats in the coming elections’

On the other hand, Manjhi gave another big statement. He said that our party should get 100 seats in the coming elections. We will take 100 seats. If not found then we will carry a different flag. He instructed to prepare for this.

Manjhi told the party’s national president Santosh Kumar Suman, who was present on the occasion, to tell the NDA that we have been cheated. Dishonesty has been done. You have underestimated us. You have made a mistake by underestimating us and if you make this mistake again, we will also part ways. Manjhi told his son, “We will say the same because you are the leader of the party and you are the leader of the party. If you consider us the guardian of the party, then do the same thing…”

Everyone will remember actress Kimi Katkar, who ruled the screen in the 80s and 90s due to her boldness and beauty. Hindi cinema named her ‘Tarzan Girl’. He did the song ‘Jumma’ in Abhitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Hum’, after which he started being called by this name.

Even after earning fame and name in Hindi cinema, the actress is living an anonymous life in Goa today. Kimi Katkar was one of the big actresses of her time, who worked with almost every big actor of that time. She worked on screen with big stars like Shatrughan Sinha, Govinda, Rajinikanth, Chunky Pandey, Jeetendra, Dharmendra, and Anil Kapoor. Kimi Katkar was born on 11 December 1965.

Became popular overnight with ‘Adventures of Tarzan’

He started working in films at the age of 20. The actress entered the industry in the year 1985 with the film ‘Patthar Dil’. The film was a hit, but due to the supporting role, she could not get recognition. The film ‘Adventures of Tarzan’ released in the same year made the actress famous overnight.

Kimi gave bold scenes in the film and did not even refrain from wearing a bikini. Her film ‘Adventures of Tarzan’ was a flop, but the film earned her the title of ‘Indian Tarzan Girl’. Even after giving flops, the actress had back to back films in her kitty. She became known as the busiest actress of the 80s and 90s.

The years 1988-1990 were great for him, because in these three years he worked in more than 35 films. Not only this, in the year 1989 he worked in 15 films and almost every one of his films performed well at the box office. If we talk about his popular films, ‘Mera Lahu’ in 1987, ‘Muljim’ in 1988, ‘Rama O Rama’, ‘Dharmayudh’, ‘Tohfa Mohabbat Ka’, ‘Sone Par Suhaaga’, ‘Kahan Hai Kanoon’ in 1989 and many names are included. Are.

Kimi Katkar got his real fame from the film ‘Hum’. However, after giving some flop films, the actress was last seen in the 1992 film ‘Hamla’, after which she married photographer and advertising producer Shantanu Shorey.

Rabri Devi, wife of former Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Yadav, has received a notice to vacate her residence located at 10 Circular Road. Politics has intensified in Bihar on the notice given by the Building Construction Department. While the opposition is cornering the government on this matter, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party (Hum) which is part of the NDA has now reacted on this. On Wednesday (November 26, 2025), HAM’s national president and Bihar government minister Santosh Suman said that the department has not done anything wrong. This is the decision of the court.

Santosh Suman said, “Four years ago, the Allahabad High Court had given a decision that no house would be allotted to any former Chief Minister. Rabri Devi is the leader of the House, hence till now she was living in the house located at 10 Circular Road. Now this is the decision of the government. She is not being made homeless. Notice has been given to change the house. The house she has got is also very big. There should be no politics in this.”

‘Government can change residence whenever it wants’

On Tej Pratap Yadav’s statement about Lalu-Nitish’s friendship, Santosh Suman said, “Whatever Tej Pratap Yadav may be saying in politics, but he also knows the law very well. This is the reason why he himself vacated his residence after losing the election. So no kind of politics should be done in this too. This is a government residence and it belongs to the government. The government can change the residence whenever it wants.”

Let us tell you that when Jitan Ram Manjhi became the Chief Minister of Bihar, he had given special facilities to the former Chief Minister. Y+ category security was provided along with large accommodation. In such a situation, at that time all the former Chief Ministers started getting this facility. Jagannath Mishra who was alive at that time was also given this facility. When Nitish Kumar resigned from the post of Chief Minister and made Jitan Ram Manjhi the Chief Minister, all these arrangements were made for Nitish Kumar also. However later this rule changed.

This time in Bihar Assembly elections, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) contested on 6 seats and registered a resounding victory on 5 seats. Despite this, none of the winning MLAs of the party got a place in the new cabinet of Nitish Kumar. Still, party chief Jitan Ram Manjhi seems happy and the reason for this is his son Santosh Suman becoming a minister once again.

5 HAM MLAs win, but no one gets ministerial post
The 5 seats won by Hindustani Awam Morcha in this election include-

Deepa Manjhi from Imamganj (daughter-in-law of Jitan Ram Manjhi)

Lalan Ram from Kutumba, who defeated Congress President Rajesh Ram

Barachatti to Jyoti Devi (Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Samdhan)

Romit Kumar from Atri

Prafulla Kumar Manjhi from Sikandra

None of these five have been given ministerial post in the Nitish government. This is being considered a big sign in political circles, but no voice of displeasure was raised in the Manjhi group.

Santosh Suman became minister for the third time
Even though the winning MLAs did not get a place in the new government of Nitish Kumar, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s son Santosh Kumar Suman has once again been made a minister. This will be his third term. Suman is the national president of HAM and also a member of Bihar Legislative Council.

Why is Santosh Suman important?
Santosh Suman is considered a leader who is educated and does politics with planning. He has done MA in Political Science from Delhi University. He has passed UGC-NET. He has done PhD from Magadh University. Before coming into politics, he was a lecturer and social worker. While being a minister, he did many works in the Scheduled Caste and Tribe Welfare Department. By resigning from the Nitish cabinet in 2023, he also gave a strong political message on the issue of independent identity of the party.

HAM’s small performance, but big political role
Although, HAM’s performance in the 2025 Bihar elections was not very good, but this party emerged as very important in the political equations. Manjhi’s role in coalition politics has continuously increased and Santosh Suman becoming a minister is the biggest proof of this.

After the landslide victory of NDA in Bihar Assembly elections 2025, discussions are now intensifying regarding the post of Chief Minister. Meanwhile, a big statement of HAM (Secular) National President Santosh Kumar Suman has come out, which has made it clear with whom his party stands. Santosh Suman said while talking to the media that we thank the public, this is the victory of democracy. We had gone to congratulate Nitish Kumar. This mandate has been received under his leadership, hence he will definitely become the Chief Minister.

He further said that the credit for victory goes to the public. Nitish Kumar deserves congratulations. Thanks to the Prime Minister and all the coalition leaders. Santosh Suman also said that everyone knows that Nitish Kumar has the ability to lead Bihar. Therefore he will definitely become the Chief Minister. This statement makes it clear that HAM (Secular) is completely united in the name of Nitish Kumar.

Chirag Paswan’s support
Regarding making Nitish Kumar the CM, Chirag Paswan said that he will discharge the role of the Chief Minister. Apart from this, while targeting the Grand Alliance, he said that they were talking about dictatorship.

JDU leader’s statement
Senior JDU leader Shyam Rajak has given a clear signal by giving a big statement on this debate. He said that the entire alliance stands with Nitish Kumar and the elections were also fought under his leadership. According to him, there is no difference of opinion in the NDA and Nitish Kumar will remain the Chief Minister in future too. Shyam Rajak’s words gave great strength to the speculation that JDU is sticking to its old decision.

BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde
Just hours after NDA’s victory, BJP General Secretary Vinod Tawde had said that the decision to elect the Chief Minister will be taken by all the NDA parties together. This one line was enough to heat up the political atmosphere. Although he later also said that the elections were fought under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, but the first statement created suspense in the entire state. For this reason, JDU leaders repeatedly clarified that the leadership will remain the same as it was during the elections.

Statement of BJP MLA Raju Singh
While talking to the media, Raju Singh said that the Chief Minister is not selected by the statement of any one leader, but by the procedure laid down by NDA. According to him, only the legislative party meeting takes the final decision and this has also been the tradition of the NDA. He clarified that this is completely a matter of top leadership and all the parties of the alliance will take the decision together. Raju Singh said that the confidence with which the public has given a historic majority to the NDA. Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar played a big role in that. According to him, when both the face of the campaign and the experience of the government are based on Nitish Kumar, then it is natural for him to be ahead for the post of Chief Minister.

Amidst Bihar elections, stones were pelted during the public relations campaign of Anil Kumar, MLA of Tikari assembly constituency of Gayaji and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) candidate. The incident took place in Dighora village.

The MLA’s convoy was attacked with bricks and stones by angry villagers, in which the glass panes of many vehicles were broken. MLA Anil Kumar has suffered injuries on his head and hands. Whereas, he has many supporters.

9 in custody, search for other accused continues

After receiving information about the attack on the MLA, DM Shashank Shubhankar and SSP Anand Kumar took stock of the incident site. Met the injured and taking immediate action, 9 people were detained from the spot. Raids are being conducted to arrest other accused.
Villagers were angry due to lack of drain in the area

Due to non-construction of drain and road in Dighora village, there was opposition among the villagers towards MLA Anil Kumar. Meanwhile, the MLA had reached Dighora during a public relations campaign. The angry villagers attacked him with bricks and stones.

With the help of the security personnel present with the MLA, the convoy of vehicles was pushed back and the MLA was evacuated from there. Meanwhile, the villagers surrounded many workers and beat them up.

Nikhil Mandal criticized the attack

JDU leader Nikhil Mandal shared the picture of injured Anil Kumar and wrote on X, “There can be protest on the basis of issue but fighting, abusing, all this is not justified from anywhere. I condemn the deadly attack on Tekari MLA and current NDA candidate Anil Kumar. In democracy, not violence, the power of ideas and the power of vote is the real power.”
