Films releasing in May 2025: The month of May is going to be very special for cinema lovers. Next month, many films one after the other are going to knock in theaters. Movies ranging from Bollywood to South Superstar are ready to rock theaters. From ‘Red 2’ to ‘Clean Khushmadid’, many brilliant films are going to be released in May.

Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Red 2’ is going to knock in theaters in May itself. The film will be released on 1 May. ‘Red 2’ is the sequel to the 2018 film ‘Red’ in which Vani Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh will also be seen alongside Ajay. This film with a budget of Rs 48 crore has been directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.

‘Red 2’ will face Sanjay Dutt’s horror-comedy film ‘The Bhootni’ at the box office. Earlier this film was scheduled to release on 18 April. However, now it will come on screen on 1 May. Mouni Roy, Palak Tiwari and Sunny Singh will also be seen alongside Sanjay Dutt in the film ‘The Bhootni’ directed by Siddhant Kumar Sachdev.

Hit 3
Apart from ‘Red 2’ and ‘The Bhootni’, South Star Nani’s film Hit: The Third case is also knocking on May 1. This Telugu film directed by Shailesh Kolanu is a crime and action-thriller.

Rajkummar Rao is going to return to his comedy avatar once again. His film ‘Bhool Laq Lapa Maaf’ is ready to come on screen on 9 May. Vamika Gabbi will be seen as a lead actress in the film.

Pulkit Samrat and Isabel Kaif’s film ‘Savvagatam Khushmadid’ is also going to release on 16 May. Katrina Kaif’s sister is going to make his debut with this film.

Suraj Pancholi and Akanksha Sharma starrer film ‘Kesari Veer’ will be released on 16 May. This film will show the story of brave warrior Hamirji Gohil. Hamirji fought against the Tughlaq Empire to protect the Somnath temple and Hinduism. Sunil Shetty will also be seen in this film.
