India Qualified For Semi Final T20 World Cup: India has defeated West Indies by 5 wickets. After South Africa, England and New Zealand, India has become the fourth and last country to reach the semi-finals. Team India has also made a world record for the largest successful run chase in T20 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. West Indies had scored 195 runs while playing first, in reply the Indian team achieved this target with 4 balls remaining. This is the sixth time in the history of T20 World Cup that India has made it to the semi-finals.

When Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan proved to be flops, Sanju Samson took charge and played a historic inning of 97 runs. Samson hit 12 fours and 4 sixes in this historic innings.

World record of biggest chase

The Indian team has set a record for the biggest run chase at Eden Gardens by achieving the target of 196 runs against West Indies. Earlier, the biggest run chase in T20 was 158 runs at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. That record was also set by the Indian team against West Indies.

Australia won the fourth T20

Australia won the target of 206 in 19.2 overs and won by 3 wickets. The Australia team, which has already taken an unbeatable lead in the series, has taken a 4-0 lead in the 5-match series. In the fourth match, Glenn Maxwell played a rage of 47 runs in 18 balls. In this, he hit 6 sixes and 1 four. He was voted the best player of the match for this innings.

Steve Smith injured

Smith suffered injuries while catching the catch of Temba Bavuma in the World Test Championup final. His right hand had a small finger injury, after which he went out of the field. Bailey told that he still needs rest and it will take more time for about a week. He has included Josh English.

A 3 Test series will be played between West Indies and Australia, the first match will be between 25 and 30 June. The second Test will start from July 3 and the third Test will start from July 13.
