Waqf amendment bill 2024: The Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024 has now passed both from the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. The government says that this law is in the interest of the people, while the opposition is constantly questioning the government. Many opposition leaders have opposed this bill. Meanwhile, the statement of the famous narrator Anirudhacharya has also come out. He said that this is good news for everyone that the Waqf Bill has passed. Now the poor and Muslims will get their rights and they will also get justice.

Anirudhacharya said that earlier the strength of the Waqf Board was in the hands of a few people, but now this property will reach the poor and they will be able to take advantage of it. He congratulated the central government for this and said that the government has done a very good job for the common people. Taking a dig at the Congress, he said, “As the saying is, ‘Crow does not die of cursing’ … Those who were earlier taking advantage of this post, now when that strength went away from his hand, he got angry. But they forgot that thousands of people would benefit from it.” He also said that if someone wants to go to court, he can go, but the work done by the government is in the interest of the country.

All India Muslim Personal Law Board objected

At the same time, All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has expressed displeasure over this bill. The board has sought time to meet President Draupadi Murmu. The board says that this law interferes with the government in Waqf properties and can affect the religious freedom of Muslims. He has described it against the constitution, especially against the rights of religious freedom and equality. The board wants them to meet the President and speak.
