Operation Sindoor: The DGMO of the Indian Army has already answered the question asked by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar regarding Operation Sindoor. Rahul Gandhi had asked the Foreign Minister whether the information of Operation Sindoor was already given to Pakistan?

This question of Rahul Gandhi was answered by DGMO Rajiv Ghai in his press conference on 11 May. Rajiv Ghai had made it clear that India had tried to make Pakistan aware of its intentions at the beginning of Operation Sindoor, but Pakistan took it lightly.

What DGMO told?

He said, “Soon after Operation Sindoor, we tried to tell our motive to attack the DGMO of Pakistan, but not only rejected it, but also said that the answer from Pakistan is certain. It is fully ready for this.”

Foreign Ministry rejected Rahul Gandhi’s allegations

At the same time, the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) has dismissed Rahul Gandhi’s allegations and said that this allegation is being completely presented. The ministry said that External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar’s statement makes it clear that Pakistan was warned after the introduction of Operation Sindoor, not before that. The ministry also said that this statement is being deliberately presented.

India launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May

After the Pahalgam terror attack, India carried out Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May, under which 9 terrorist bases were targeted in PoK. More than 100 terrorists were killed in this retaliation. After this attack, Pakistan was shocked and between May 7 to 10, India attacked India with a rampage and examples, which India also responded to. India attacked 11 airbase of Pakistan and completely destroyed it.
