This portal is a digital platform, designed to streamline TDS compliance as per the Income Tax Act 2025. With the help of this portal, it will become easier for the public to make their claim.

How is the portal?
This new website of Income Tax Department is traces.tdscpc.gov.in, users can easily open this website on their sister. The interface of this new portal has been completely redesigned. It has been made better and easier than before. So that the user gets better experience, easier navigation and better work. This new portal also has a dashboard to download your TDS forms, TDS certificates, track TDS credits and submit corrections.

How to use TRACES portal?

• For this, first of all you have to open your computer or laptop. After this you have to open Google Chrome or whatever search engine you use.
• After this, write traces.tdscpc.gov.in in the search bar at the top and enter. The new website of TRACES will open in front of you.
• Even if you open the old TRACES website, this link will take you to the new portal.
• Apart from this, a separate TRACES portal nriservices.tdscpc.gov.in has also been made available for NRI tax payers.

Property buyers will not be able to use
According to experts, people buying property will not be able to use TRACES 2.0 portal to deposit TDS. Apart from this, he also said that to make best use of TRACES 2.0 under the Income Tax Act, 2025, tax payers should regularly credit TDS on their dashboard. Instant downloading and editing of certificates, use of correct tax year, immediate action can be taken to correct any errors within the stipulated time frame for correction.
