Why did the accused sent a threatening message to Salman Khan?

According to a report by The Free Press Journal, Pandya confessed to the police that he was aiming to increase his Instagram followers and impressed by the frequent threats to Khan from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, he decided to send a similar threat. He found a WhatsApp helpline number of Mumbai Traffic Police through Google Search and sent a threatening message to kill the superstar there.

What the police said?
Deputy Police Commissioner (Zone 3) Dattatreya Kamble allegedly confirmed the incident and said that the message came from Pandya’s personal phone. The accused lives in Vadodara, Gujarat and helps his parents in running a juice shop. He has also a history of mental health problems and he has been taking treatment since 2014. According to the verified medical records by the authorities, Pandya’s mental health problem started in 2014 after his grandfather’s sudden death due to electric shock. Allegedly there was no information about the message sent by his family until the police reached his house.
