There are 22 rooms under the main tomb of the Taj Mahal, which no one has been able to do yet. According to historians, these rooms were last opened in 1934. There are many rooms on the first floor of the Taj Mahal, but two steps going to this side are closed since the time of Shah Jahan.

Some time ago, the Archaeological Department of India released two pictures of these closed rooms. There is speculation that there are hidden treasures of gold and silver in these closed rooms. Apart from this, there are also ancient Mughal documents and other artifacts.

Some people say that Shah Jahan and Mumtaz have a real resting place in these rooms. The funny thing is that all the four towers of Taj Mahal are connected to these rooms.

Many historians say that all Hindu idols and inscriptions are present in these closed rooms. A PIL was filed to open it, which was rejected by the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court.
