7-8 months spent in fitness

Kunal Thakur told in this conversation, ‘Initially I did not look like a box because I had recently shot a film and my hair was also long. There was also 5-6 kg fat. Didn’t have a very good body but for a boxer a lot has to be seen including stamina, fluctuations in the body and fitness. A lot of hard work had to be done to reach that level. For this I added 10 kg of fat. It takes 6-7 months to do this. I also gave that time and worked hard for about 7-8 months.

The actor punched Pulkit in real life

Kunal Thakur tells that the fight scenes in the ring in ‘Glory’ have been shot in real and in the fight with Pulkit, they also punched each other. The actor told, ‘The scenes were shot in real and there were injuries. I got punched by Pulkit and he also got punched by me. If you don’t take the punch then where will the fear come from? A person learns only through training, so these punches are also a lesson for me. We even went into the ring with a real boxer and narrowly escaped his punch.

What was most challenging in ‘Glory’?

Kunal Thakur also talked about his challenge in the series ‘Glory’ and said, ‘The most challenging for me was body transformation. It was very difficult for me to do boxing and become a boxer. Along with this, along with the greater challenge of boxing, I also had to learn Haryanvi. It took hours and hours of hard work for the body transformation. I also got injuries, my back hurts a lot even today.
