The prices of goats during the festival mainly depend on their breed like Sirohi, Gujri, Totapari and their total weight and conformation. Since cattle farmers have to put in more hard work and time in preparing Khassi goats, their price in the market is always higher than normal goats. There is a difference in their rates according to different areas and goat farms, but due to better health and clean meat, people happily buy these goats even at higher prices.
