MG Motor, which has a large stake in the market of Electric Vehicles (EV), has been sold over 27,000 units since the launch of Windsor EV. Windsor EV was launched in September last year. Recently, the company introduced its new variant Windsor Pro.

MG Motor has reported that apart from metro cities for Windsor EV, there is also strong demand from Tier to cities. Non-Metro cities accounts for about 48 percent in the sale of this electric crossover. Windsor EV has a major stake in the total sales of MG Motor. The initial price of Windsor Ev Pro is about 18.10 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). Its battery will reduce the price with the Edge A Service option. However, a battery rental of Rs 4.5 per kilometer will also have to be paid with it. It is an upgraded version of the company’s best selling Windsor EV. It is the best selling EV in the country for the last few months.

The company claims that the new version of Windsor EV gives a range of more than 440 kilometers in single charge. It has an electric motor similar to the standard version of 136 HP power and 200 Nm torque. The new version has alloy wheels and ‘Adas’ badges on the tailgate. It has been introduced in new colors like Aurora Silver, Celadon Blue and Glaze Red. Some changes have also been made in its cabin. It has light color interior. Windsor Ev Pro has Taffic Jam Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control such as Adas Level 2 features. It has a sedan -like comfort and SUV -like space. It competes with Mahindra’s XUV400 and Tata Motors’ Nexon EV. Tata Motors has the highest stake in the market of electric vehicles.

Its standard version is available in three variants. EV portfolio of Mg Motor includes ComeT EV, Windsor EV and ZS EV. The manufacturing company of this electric crossover is being done in Halol’s factory in Gujarat. To fulfill its increasing demand, the company has also prepared to increase the capacity of its factory.
