That means, if a player gets a prize of Rs 9 crore, then after deducting tax, he will get only about Rs 2 crore 70 lakh in his hands. How are ICC awards distributed?

ICC’s money goes directly to the cricket board, and from there it is distributed among the players. The board decides how much amount is given to whom. This time BCCI itself has given a huge bonus from its own pocket, which is the biggest compared to any tournament till now.
