Board of Peace: US President Donald Trump has announced the formation of ‘Board of Peace’ during the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland. The purpose of this board is said to be to work towards resolution of ongoing wars around the world and to play a role in the reconstruction of war-devastated areas.

Under this initiative, Trump had initially sent an invitation to Canada to join the board, but the US President withdrew the invitation before any official response was received from Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Nandyal Bus Accident: In Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh, in the early hours of Thursday, a private bus went out of control and collided with a container truck coming from the front and a massive fire occurred.
