Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB Hospital Assistant Recruitment 2026) has announced a major recruitment for 1200 posts of Hospital Assistant. The objective of this recruitment is to meet the shortage of staff in government hospitals and health centers of the state.

Application process and important information

The application process for this recruitment has been kept completely online. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of MPESB, esb.mp.gov.in. This recruitment will be done in government health centers and hospitals located in various districts of the state. The application process will start from 7th May 2026 and will continue till 21st May 2026. While applying, candidates will have to fill all the required information correctly and upload the documents. After this, you will have to pay the application fee and submit the form. Before applying, candidates are advised to read the notification carefully so that no mistake is made.

Qualification and age limit information

For recruitment to the posts of Hospital Assistant of MPESB, it is necessary for the candidate to have at least 10th pass from a recognized board. For some posts, additional health sector related qualifications or experience may also be sought. To apply for these posts, the minimum age of the candidates should be between 18 years to 40 years. The reserved category candidates will also be given age relaxation as per government rules. Apart from this, the candidate will be selected on the basis of written examination, after which there will be document verification.

A total of 1200 posts are included in this recruitment which are divided into different categories. Separate seats have been earmarked for general category, OBC, SC and ST. in which

• 324 posts for unreserved (General Category)
• 120 posts for EWS
• 192 posts for Scheduled Caste (SC)
• 240 posts for Scheduled Tribe (ST)
• 324 posts for OBC

MPESB Hospital Assistant Selection Process

Candidates will be selected for the posts of Hospital Assistant in MPESB Madhya Pradesh on the basis of written examination, document verification and medical test. Selected candidates will be appointed to the post of Hospital Assistant in government hospitals. Along with this, they will also get salary and other facilities as per the rules of the government. In the written examination, questions related to General Knowledge, Hindi, English and Health Department will be asked.
