Amit Aggarwal went around the entire office on a brand new red color scooter, which was given as a reward to an employee who gave the best performance of the quarter, and then handed it over to the real winner.

In this video, he is seen roaming on the office floor sitting on a shiny red scooter, while the employees standing around are enjoying the atmosphere by clapping and cheering. Amit wrote in the caption of the post, “That day I had a very important task to do – driving a scooter.” He told that his company’s ‘Packers and Movers’ team had given unprecedented performance in this quarter and among the many prizes, this scooter was also a big surprise for a winning employee.

Bigger moment than reward, credit given to team’s hard work

Amit Aggarwal wrote that when employees put in their time, hard work and energy to achieve a goal, that moment should be bigger than just giving a formal prize. He said that the real happiness was not in distributing the scooters, but in seeing the pride and smile on the faces of the employees. Amit told that the teams of sales, servicing and partner management together achieved a target which initially seemed impossible. He said, “If even one of these teams had slacked off, this success would have been just a slide in a PowerPoint presentation.”
