Virat Kohli is out on zero for the second time in a row. In the second ODI being played against Australia at Adelaide Oval, Xavier Bartlett got him out LBW. Kohli talked to Rohit for some time and walked out of the field, deciding not to take the review. On this inswinging ball, Kohli wanted to flick it from the back foot towards mid-wicket but the ball did not hit the bat. The ball hit the pad straight, an appeal was made and the umpire gave out. Kohli talked to Rohit for some time but decided that he was out and DRS should not be taken. He returned to the pavilion on zero after playing 4 balls.

This was Bartlett’s first over. On its first ball, he took India’s first wicket in the form of Shubhman Gill. Gill scored 9 runs playing 9 balls.

It happened for the first time ever in history

This is the first time in history that Virat Kohli, who has played more than 300 ODIs, has been out for zero in two consecutive ODIs. He was dismissed by Mitchell Starc in the first ODI played in Perth.
