Both shared a 91 -run partnership for the first wicket. This is the biggest opening partnership for India in the first Test in England.

Jaiswal and Rahul have broken the 39 -year -old record. The pair made Sunil Gavaskar and K.K. Srikanth’s record has broken, who shared a 64 -run opening partnership against England in 1986.
