The biggest complaint of those traveling on the highway was about the queues at toll plazas and the hassle of repeated payments. To reduce this problem, NHAI has created a technology based system.

Now toll payment is not only digital. Rather, it has also become much more convenient. This year a new option has also been introduced for FASTag users. Due to which the journey of regular passengers has become easier. The purpose of the new system is to save time, improve traffic flow and make highway travel more comfortable.

Method of toll payment changed with FASTag annual pass

This year NHAI has started FASTag Annual Pass. Once activated, it can be used throughout the year. This pass is especially beneficial for those who travel on the highway daily or frequently. After taking the annual pass, there is no need to worry about toll deduction every time and the need to stop at the toll plaza also reduces.

This pass linked to FASTag is directly linked to the tag of the vehicle. Due to which automatic entry and exit takes place. With this, toll collection has become more fast and accurate. NHAI believes that this system will reduce crowding at toll plazas and the problem of traffic jams will be eliminated to a great extent.

Regular passengers are getting the biggest benefit of FASTag Annual Pass. This system saves both time and money for those who go to office, business or travel long distances daily. Fuel expenses incurred due to frequent stops at toll plazas also reduce. Along with this, every transaction remains on track due to digital records. Due to which it becomes easy to complain about any kind of irregularity.

There will be changes in Fastag facility also

Now changes will be seen at the system level regarding Fastag facility. According to official information, National Payment Corporation of India i.e. NPCI has further strengthened the national electronic toll collection technology. Its objective is to make the toll system across the country completely digital and interconnected.

In the new technology, RFID device is installed on the windscreen of the vehicle. As soon as the vehicle passes through the toll plaza. Without stopping, the toll amount is automatically deducted from the driver’s linked bank account. This eliminates cash payment, long lines and wastage of time. The new system is being considered a big step towards making toll collection more fast, accurate and transparent.

The Indian team played a Test series at home for the second time this year, but this time it was the World Test Championship winning team. The first match of the series played in Kolkata was very exciting, in which Team India could score only 189 runs in the first innings after bundling out South Africa for 159 runs. South Africa scored 153 runs in the second innings and gave India a target of 124 runs to win, but Team India was all out for 93 runs. South Africa won this match by 30 runs.

The second match of the series was played in Guwahati, in which South Africa put India under pressure by scoring 489 runs in the first innings. Team India could score only 201 runs in the first innings. However, South Africa did not follow on.
