Yeida new scheme: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) is going to start an affordable housing scheme near Noida Airport. It is specially designed for economically weaker sections (EWS), whose annual income is Rs 3 lakh. About 4,000 plots of 30 square meters will be introduced in this scheme. The price of each of these will be Rs 7.5 lakh.

Plots will be found in this area of ​​Noida

According to Yeida, these plots are in Sector 17, 18 and 20 near Noida International Airport being built in the jewelery area along the Munha Expressway. This affordable plot housing scheme was approved in the board meeting of the authority held on 18 June. Officials related to this say that this scheme is for laborers working in the factories located in the Yamuna Expressway Region and the income of Rs 3 lakh annually. Yida says that a successful applicant can pay in installments for seven years.

Land reserved for these people

According to Mankentrol report, CEO of Yeida Arun Veer Singh said that 29 of these EWS plots have been reserved for laborers working in projects located in the Yeida areas, 5 percent plots will be reserved for retired defense personnel and Yeida employees. To meet the growing demand in this fast developing area, Yeida has decided to start this scheme. Many big projects are being prepared in this area, in such a situation, there is a great need for housing to live in them.

Plots will be allotted in this way

In the first phase of the scheme, 4,288 Arfodable Housing Plots will be launched in Sector 17, 6B Sector 18, 2A Sector 18 and Sector 20. The maximum 2,335 plots will be in 6B Sector 18, followed by 881 plots in 2A Sector 18. Similarly, there will be 548 plots in Sector 20 and 524 plots in Sector 17. These plots will be allotted through lucky draw. To be eligible for lucky draw, the applicant will have to pay 10 percent of the total plot price. The purpose of this ambitious project is to provide a new identity in the fields of film production, media, entertainment and tourism to Uttar Pradesh.

In the first phase of the project, work will start on 230 acres of land, with 13-14 modern film studios and a film institute spread over 3 lakh square meters at a cost of about ₹ 1510 crore. The company selected for the construction work BayView Projects LLP, which is the company of filmmaker Boney Kapoor, has completed all the preparations. GM Rajiv Arora of the company said that the geo-technical survey is almost complete, and the building plan will be submitted in 2-3 days. Construction work will be started as soon as all approval is received. Its foundation stone will be laid by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself.

Yogi government’s dream will come true

The master plan of Film City has been approved on 30 January 2025. On 27 June 2024, the convention agreement between Yeida and BayView Projects has been signed and the right to the site has been entrusted to the company on 27 February 2025. The project will be expanded in three phases (phase) and a target is to be completed in eight years.

This film city will create a large scale investment and employment prospects in the field of film industry, post-production, animation, visual effects, media startups and film education in the state.
