YouTube is going to close its Trending section launched in 2015 soon. This change will take place in the coming few weeks and after that the “Trending Now” list will be removed and the users will be redirected to YouTube Charts and Personalized Records. According to YouTube, the user visits on the trending page have decreased in the last five years, especially due to Tiktok and Shorts.

Google’s UnderTrending section will be removed from July 21. Now users will get a new section called YouTube Charts, which will have a category-specific ranking like music video, podcast, film trailer.
