YouTube shorts are going to rollout five new features soon, which are specially designed keeping in mind video creators. These features will be launched in spring this year and their aim is to make short video editing much easier, creative and professional. This was already confirmed by the company. 1. new timeline-based video editor

Now no third-party app will be required to make shorts. YouTube is bringing a new in-app editor, in which the creators will get timeline interface. In this, users will be able to control clips to control trim, re-order, deleted, music add and text timing. This will keep the editing process more fine-tune and control.

2. Auto Beat-Synchings Tool

Perfectly sinking the video on music beats will no longer be a manual work. YouTube is launching an auto beat-pin feature that will match automatically with the song rhythm. This will make more effortless to make videos with trending music on shorts.

3. Customizable Templates

Under this feature, users will be able to make template-based videos by importing images from their gallery. That is, if a trend is going on in which a particular layout or format is needed, then it will now be directly directed in YouTube shorts, without editing apps.

4. AI generated stickers

With the help of AI technology, creators will now be able to make stickers by adding text descriptions. For example, if you type “Cat With Sunglasses”, AI of YouTube will generate a custom sticker on the base of the description that you can use in your video.

5. Option to add image stickers from gallery

Now users will get the facility to lift the image from their gallery in YouTube shorts and add it as a sticker. This will make the video even easier to give a personal touch, especially when you want to add to your brand elements or memes videos.

The aim of all these features is to make YouTube shorts more powerful than platforms like Tiktok and Instagram Reels. The company has said that these updates will soon be rolled out for all users.
