Standup comedian Zakir Khan recently announced a long break. He said that he is taking a break till 2030. Zakir made this announcement in his live show in Hyderabad. Zakir told that now he will focus on his health. He said that he will finish the events he is currently running and then go on a break. Now Zakir has talked about his illness.

While talking to Gulf News, Zakir Khan talked about his health issues. He said, ‘I need to take care of my own health. There are many genetic diseases in my family, which appear after a certain age. On top of that, I have ruined my body. I am sleeping only for 2 hours and am going to meet thousands of people. Because as soon as you reach a city you immediately meet people.

Zakir said that when you are the first person in your family who has achieved so much name and fame, then there is a responsibility on you. Not only for ourselves but also for the coming generations. Zakir admitted that because of this feeling he gave priority to work above all else and now because of this decision his health is being affected.

When did Zakir decide to take a break?

Zakir said, ‘When you work non-stop for ten years, it will definitely take a toll on your body. Initially I thought that I would manage my health along with my work. But last year, when I was in the US, I realized that it was not possible to do both the jobs simultaneously. Then I decided to take a break.

After this he revealed his plans on Instagram. He said that all the shows till June 20 will be a celebration for him. Zakir also asked the fans to come to the remaining performances. He said that this time he will not tour much.

Zakir Khan’s health affected

In this he had said that due to doing shows continuously for ten years, early morning flights, sleepless nights and not having regular meals, his health had been badly affected.
