A very shameful and shocking case has come to light from Panipat, Haryana. Here a woman had gone to a Tantrik for the treatment of her son’s long-running illness. The victim alleges that the Tantrik trapped her on the pretext of curing her son and then raped her.
Made to drink intoxicants in the name of worship
The victim told that the Tantrik assured her that her son would be cured by special worship. On this pretext, he called her to the banks of river Yamuna in the name of performing puja. There, in the name of puja and Jal Aachman, she was given intoxicants to drink, due to which she became unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he realized that something had gone wrong with him.
Taken hostage in the forests of Assam
It is alleged that the Tantrik kidnapped the unconscious woman and took her to the forests of Assam. There he was kept hostage for about 10 days. During this, the Tantrik repeatedly raped her and threatened to kill her if she protested. The victim says that she remained scared and kept looking for a chance to somehow get out of there.
Police rescued after family complaint
When the woman suddenly went missing, her family lodged a missing complaint with the police. Taking the matter seriously, the police started investigation and tracked the location of the accused Tantrik. After technical investigation, the police team recovered the woman safely and brought her back to Panipat.
On the basis of the statement of the victim, the police have registered a case against the accused Tantrik under rape, kidnapping and other serious sections. At present the accused is being interrogated and the police say that the case is being investigated from every aspect. The police have also appealed to the people not to fall prey to exorcisms and hypocritical Tantrikas and to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.
