It is being told that some senior leaders may not be seen in the cabinet. Representation of the entire country and different religions is also being considered in the cabinet, so that every section gets a place.
Tariq Rehman’s possible ministers
The names being discussed in the possible cabinet of Tariq Rehman include Humayun Kabir, Dr. Reza Kibria, Amir Khasru Mahmood Chaudhary, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Mohammad Asadujamman, Salahuddin Ahmed, Mirza Abbas, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Azam Zahid Hussain and Nazrul Islam Khan. Apart from this, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy is also expected to get a big responsibility.

BNP President and Prime Minister nominee Tariq Rahman met opposition leaders on Sunday, February 15, 2026, two days before the swearing-in of the new government. At that time, Jamaat-e-Islami was discussing the demand of counting of votes in 32 parliamentary constituencies with the alliance of 11 parties.
