Emraan Hashmi, yesterday when you came on stage, a dialogue echoed as soon as you came, “Now that Bollywood is on one side, Emraan Hashmi on the other side.” And honestly, whatever thing gets associated with you, that trend lasts for a long time. The first trend lasted for 15 years. I am really hoping that this trend stops here, maybe in a year or two. Because this was going on even yesterday, meaning even the cases of customs officers were linked to it. So all that is still on. Now talking about feel, it has ultimately become a running joke. The earlier tag was carried forward. But what is happening now is that ever since Badass has been released, the only thing that is being heard everywhere is “Akha Bollywood…” But it is true, it is a compliment. But I feel that if you start taking these things too seriously, then you become like a caricature of yourself. It is very important for me to show my versatility in front of the audience. You have to break certain stereotypes. For this reason I am not very serious about all these things.
