Tata Group IPO after 2 years
If this IPO is successful, then it can become the biggest initial public issue of the country’s financial sector so far. After the listing of Tata Technologies in November 2023, this will be the Tata group’s second IPO in recent years. According to the documents given to SEBI, Tata Capital will issue 21 crore fresh shares and at the same time 23 crore equity shares will be sold by Tata Sons under the Offer for Sale (OFS).
What is the record of the company
Additionally, 3.58 crore shares will be offloaded through International Financial Corporation. Although Tata Capital has not yet announced the date and price band of this IPO, it is expected that announcement will be made in this regard soon. Talking about Tata Capital, it is an important NBFC under the regulation of the Reserve Bank of India, which is mandatory to bring its IPO by September 2025.
In FY 2023-24, the company’s net profit increased by 10 percent to ₹ 3,655 crore, while the revenue also increased by 57 percent. With these strong financial results, Tata Capital’s IPO can prove to be a major opportunity for investors.
