Tata Capital IPO Listing: The much-awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Tata Capital of the Indian stock market got listed in the stock market on Monday, 13 October. Tata Capital, the NBFC company of Tata Group, raised Rs 15,500 crore from its IPO. The company’s shares were listed on BSE at Rs 330, which is 1.23 percent or Rs 4 more than the IPO price band. The company had fixed the issue price band of the shares at Rs 326.
How was the behavior in the gray market?
The listing of Tata Capital shares in the stock market was mixed with the behavior of shares in the gray market. According to gray market experts, non-listed shares of Tata Capital IPO were trading at Rs 329.5 in the gray market. That is, the shares of the company were listed in the share market according to the gray market. Not much ups and downs were seen in this. Even in the gray market, the share price was 1 percent or Rs 3.5 more than the company fixed price band.
Company share status
The company’s shares were listed in NSE Nifty 50 at a price of Rs 330. According to NSE website, total bets on Tata Capital IPO were 1.96 times. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) subscribed the maximum shares. QIBs bid 3.42 times on the company’s shares.
At the same time, the company’s shares were subscribed 1.98 times by non-institutional investors (NIIs) and 1.10 times by retail investors. After Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv and Jio Financial Services, Tata Capital became the fourth largest shadow lender in the country with its listing in the stock market.
