The Electronics Division of the Tata Group has launched a new unit in the Hosur plant for the assembly of mobile phones. Till now the company was producing the outer structure of the iPhone in its Hosur plant. Now the assembling work has also started here. According to the source, Earlier, Tata Electronics started the iPhone assembling at its Wistron plant in Karnataka. A few months ago, assembling work started in Hosur plant as well. The company’s plan is to start at least four units in the coming time.
Now Taiwan’s company shocks Trump
Each unit has the ability of more than 2500 workers to work. Once the Hosur plant starts working on the whole day, it will surpass the vistron plant in terms of operation. Along with Tata, Taiwan’s company Hon High Procession Industry has also given a big blow to Trump as the company wants to increase investment in India by reducing its production from China. The company has said to invest $ 1.5 billion (about Rs 12,500 crore) in India. Increasing its production capacity, he is building its plant in the southern part of India.
