Tata Motors is one of India’s well-known automobile companies. Its famous car Tata Nexon set the record for the best selling car in June 2025. However, this figure is about 4% less than in June 2024, when 12,066 units were sold. Nevertheless, Nexon performed brilliantly and remained the top selling car. Also, the sales of Tiago and Altroz have also increased slightly compared to last year. Let’s know in detail.
Tata Nexon
- Tata Nexon recorded his name at the top with a sale of 11,602 units in June 2025.
- This figure is slightly lower than 12,066 units of June 2024, but still remained the best selling car in Nexon Tata.
- There was a slight decline of 4% in sales from year to year.
Tata punch
- Tata Punch was second in June 2025 with 10,446 units.
- In June 2024 last year, its sales were 18,238 units. That is, sales have fallen by about 43%.
- This decline is considered a major setback in the micro SUV segment.
Tata Tiago
- Tiago made a good comeback in June 2025. This compact hatchback sold 6,032 units, which is 17% more than 5,174 units of the previous year.
- This is a good sign for Tata that customers are now returning to small cars again.
Tata altroz
- Altroz sales also saw a slight rise.
- Its 3,974 units sold in June 2025, which is only 1% more than the 3,937 units of June 2024.
- The stable sales of this popular premium hatchback shows that its grip in the market remains strong.
Tata curvv
- Tata’s new SUV CurvV sold 2,060 units in June 2025.
- This figure shows a decline of 33% at a monthly level from 3,063 units of May 2025. But this can be considered a satisfactory start for the new car.
- Safari, Harrier and Tigor sales were 922, 1,259 and 788 units in June 2025. Tata Motors, including these models, sold a total of 37,083 units, which is about 15% less than the 43,527 units sold in June 2024.
