Tata Sierra powertrain
Talking about the powertrain of Tata Sierra, it has been given three engine options of 1.5 liter, which include naturally aspirated petrol, turbo petrol and diesel engine. Transmission options in Tata Sierra are 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT and 6-speed automatic.
The starting ex-showroom price of Tata Sierra SUV is Rs 11.49 lakh, while the price of the top variant goes up to Rs 21.29 lakh. The special thing is that good features start available in it from the base model itself.
Which vehicles does it compete with?
The new Tata Sierra is giving direct competition to vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and Toyota Hyder in the mid-size SUV segment. Due to premium features, spacious cabin and reasonable price, Sierra has emerged as a strong contender in this segment.
