The country’s general budget is being presented in the Parliament today on Sunday (February 1, 2026). Poet Kumar Vishwas has given a sober response regarding this. Speaking to the media, he said, “I request Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to present such a budget so that the public does not feel burdened at the time of tax collection and the entire country is happy when that revenue is used for public welfare. I hope that this budget will prove to be very beneficial for Indians, especially the middle class and farmers.”
Giving the example of a story, Kumar Vishwas said that the budget should be made like the Suryavanshis. Just as the sun absorbs water from river, sea, pond, glass, but when it rains, it rains equally on everyone. Similarly, I requested the Finance Minister that everyone should be taken care of.

Let us tell you that the budget speech of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman starts at 11 am in Parliament. It is believed that there may be many big announcements in the budget. In the very beginning, he announced the formation of a banking committee for financial stability and keeping in mind the interests of the customers. Along with this, it was announced to build mining corridor in Odisha, Kerala and Chhattisgarh. A national fiber scheme will also be introduced for silk, jute and the like. The Finance Minister also announced the construction of 22 new waterways in the country.
Akhilesh Yadav had taunted
Earlier, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav gave a sharp reaction regarding the general budget and said that what is the expectation from the budget of a government which has no expectations. He also accused the government of many previous schemes not being completed. He had mentioned deaths due to water in Indore and polluted air in Delhi.
