TCL has launched its new flagship TV QM8K, which the company has introduced for 2025. This TV is an upgrade version of the previous model QM851G and has TCL’s in-house Crystaglow Whva panel and Redigned Halo Control System. The company claims that both these upgrade gives better HDR performance and color accuracy in TV.

Several size variants of TCL QM8K have been launched. Come on design and specifications. The TCL QM8K series has a zeroborder design, in which the thickness mixes with border and bezel remains only 3-4mm. It uses aerospace-grade aluminum and anodized ceramic film which makes the body more strong. It also contains 40% wider viewing angle compared to anti-reflex treatment and previous models, which reduces the problem of color shift and glare.

The Mini LED backlight system has also been upgraded to TCL TV, which now has 35% more dimming zone and 65% more peak brightness. The Halo Control system uses Super High Energy LED chip, super condensed micro lens and Micro OD technology, which leads to large extent control and improves contrast.

QM8k TVs provide Diming Zone and HDR5000-Level Brightness up to LD3800. TCL has paired it with a 23-bit Bi-Directional Backlight Controller, which gives ultra-fun control up to 65,000 brightness levels. With the help of Dynamic Light Algorithm, SDR content also gets visual touch like HDR.

In the case of audio, this TV has been tuned by Bang & Olufsen. It has up-firing dolby atmos drivers and DTS Virtual: X support.

QM8K has a TCL AIPQ Pro chipset which comes with Zero-Delay Transient Response feature. This reduces the input leg and image blur to a great extent. The display has a native refresh rate of 144Hz and can be increased to 288Hz via Game Accelerator 288. Features like AMD Freesync Premium Pro and Auto Low Laten Mode (Allm) are also available for gamers.

Smart TV features include Google TV, new GUI, backlit remote and hands-free voice control. The TV supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode. Talking about connectivity, QM8K has four HDMI ports, one of which supports EARC. Apart from this, USB, Ethernet, Optical out and RF input are also available. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth are supported for wireless connectivity. Also, Chromecast and Apple Airplay 2 are also in-built.
