The Mamta government is being surrounded by the Mamta government regarding the teacher recruitment scam in West Bengal. Teachers, who lost their jobs due to this scam, met Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata on Monday (April 7, 2025).
After meeting Mamta Banerjee, there was a lot of anger among the teachers. He says that the state government should take responsibility for this entire matter. Talking to news agency ANI, Suman Biswas (whose job has gone), said, ‘TMC Chief which is offering us is nothing more than lollipop’. He alleged that the Chief Minister of the state, his cabinet and commission are all involved in the teacher recruitment scam.

He said, ‘The state government should be held responsible. Along with other people, the Chief Minister is also involved in this scam. Instead of giving jobs to people, bribe was taken from them and now we (Mamata Banerjee) caught lollipop. He further informed that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that her government will give voluntary job to 25,000 people and will investigate the matter. Suman Biswas said, ‘I appeal to the people of the whole country to see what is going on in West Bengal today. This is Khudiram’s Bengal and we know very well how we have to fight against this government and Mamta Banerjee. Job is our right ‘.

What is the whole matter
The Supreme Court has justified the decision of the High Court to cancel the jobs of more than 25 thousand teachers/non -teachers in West Bengal. Apart from this, more than 120 petitions were filed on this matter. The High Court, in its decision, canceled all the jobs and asked these people to collect the entire salary including interest. At the same time, in this case, the Supreme Court has said in its judgment that the entire order of the High Court will be applicable about those who have been accused of adopting wrong ways in the investigation so far, but those who have not been found particularly tainted do not have to return the salary.
