Shreyas Iyer did not get a chance
Shreyas Iyer has not been included in the team for the five -match T20 series against Australia. Iyer was not taken in the Asia Cup 2025 squad. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the title under Iyer’s captaincy in IPL 2025. At the same time, under the captaincy of Shreyas, after 11 years, the Punjab Kings team reached the final. But even after doing better in T20, Shreyas Iyer is not getting a chance to play T20 International.
Hardik Pandya also out
Hardik Pandya has neither been taken in the ODI series nor Pandya is part of the T20 series on Australia tour. Hardik Pandya was injured during the Asia Cup 2025. For this reason, the Asia Cup finals could not even play. This all -rounder player of India is not going on a tour of Australia due to Hardik’s injury.
