Now before the India vs England Test series, head coach Gautam Gambhir and new Test captain Shubman Gill held a press conference. In this conference, Gautam Gambhir has given a big statement on a stampede outside the stadium.
On the unfortunate incident in Bengaluru, Gautam Gambhir said, “I have never been a supporter of road shows. I believed the same when I was part of India’s T20 World Cup winning team in 2007. People have great importance from such things. I will continue to say the same.”
We need to be more careful
Gautam Gambhir further said, “In future we need to be more careful. Whether such a ceremony is happening outside the field or inside the field. This incident was very unfortunate, for which we are all responsible. I wish that such a sad incident will never happen in future.”
