Hat-trick of victory against Pakistan
With the win against Pakistan, Team India scored a hat-trick of wins in the tournament. India defeated USA by 29 runs in the first match. Then in the second match against Namibia, Team India won by 93 runs. After this, Men in Blue completed a hat-trick of wins by winning against Pakistan by 61 runs.
Made place in Super-8 also
It is noteworthy that along with registering victory against Pakistan, Team India has also qualified for Super-8. The Indian team became the first team from its group (Group-A) to get a place in the Super-8. Apart from India, West Indies and England from Group-C and South Africa from Group-D have also secured their place in the Super-8.
