Team India Victory Parade: When is the victory parade of world champion Team India? BCCI took the decision, know everything

Victory Parade: India’s women’s cricket team has created history by winning the ODI World Cup for the first time. Under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, Team India made the country proud by defeating South Africa by 52 runs. This victory is being celebrated across the country, but now everyone’s eyes are on when the ‘Victory Parade’ of the women’s team will take place. However, BCCI has not yet made any official announcement on this.

What did BCCI say about the victory parade?

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Devjit Saikia said that at present no final date has been decided for the Victory Parade. He said, “The victory parade has not been planned yet. I and other officials will attend the ICC meeting to be held in Dubai from November 4 to 7. Only after that the final decision will be taken.”

This clearly means that BCCI does not want to take any step in haste. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) does not want to take the risk of any accident by holding the parade immediately.

Will BCCI take a lesson from RCB’s victory parade?

Actually, in June this year when RCB won its first IPL. After that, the very next day a victory parade was taken out in Bengaluru. Due to huge crowd and chaos there was a stampede, in which many people lost their lives. BCCI now does not want to repeat the same mistake regarding the victory parade of the women’s team.

Celebratory atmosphere in the country due to historic victory

Team India, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, defeated South Africa at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday. Brilliant innings by Shefali Verma (87), Deepti Sharma (58) and Smriti Mandhana (45) took India to a strong score of 298 runs. In reply, the South African team collapsed for 246 runs.

This victory became the golden moment in the history of Indian women’s cricket. This is the same team which ended a long wait of 47 years and won the World Cup trophy for the first time.

Saikia also spoke on Asia Cup trophy

Devjit Saikia also said that the issue of Asia Cup trophy will be raised before ICC. He said that India will demand to bring back the trophy with its “honor and rights”.

In fact, in the final of Asia Cup 2025, the Indian team had refused to take the trophy from the hands of Naqvi. After which Naqvi took the trophy back and the Indian players celebrated without the trophy.
