Australia-A won the third T20 match against India-A in Makay by four runs on Sunday. With this, the Australian team made a clean sweep 3–0 in the series of three matches. Australia-A scored 144 runs losing eight wickets, deciding to bat first after winning the toss at the Great Barrier Reef Arena.
The team lost the wicket of Alyssa Heli on a score of 37, who scored 27 runs in 21 balls with the help of a six and three fours. After this, Tahlia Wilson added 14 runs to the team’s account, while Anika Learoid scored 22 runs in 17 balls.
Medaline Penna was the highest run -scorer for the team, who scored 39 runs in 32 balls with the help of four boundary. Captains Radha Yadav and Prema Rawat took three wickets for India-A, while Sajeevan Sajna hunted. In response, the Indian team could score 140 runs after losing eight wickets in the scheduled overs.
The team had lost the wickets of Vrinda Dinesh (4) and Uma Chhetri (3) by 16 runs. From here, Shefali Verma handled India-A, scoring 43 runs for the third wicket with Raghavi Bisht.
Shefali was dismissed for 41 runs in 25 balls, including a six and six fours. After this, Raghavi, scoring 48 runs for the fourth wicket with Minnu Mani, took the team beyond 100.
